MorCap was founded in 2007 by mortgage banking and real estate attorney Robert L. Labbe, and is headquartered in southern California. Mr. Labbe; is a licensed attorney in both California ('90) and New York ('87) and has been lead attorney for nationwide lenders such as DiTech, First Allegiance, and Lenders Direct over a real estate career spanning two decades. Mr. Labbe has been actively involved as both a senior attorney and top level executive in the management of several billion dollars of residential financing nationwide.
Founded in 2011, MorCap Asset Management, LLC (MCAM) is a national asset management company. MCAM was founded to fulfill the growing marketplace need for a reliable full service REO disposition platform within the residential/commercial REO sectors. Our vision is to become a national leader in REO asset management through efficiency and expertise and by providing sustainable, reliable solutions that exceed client expectations.
MorCap’s Asset Valuation Division has conducted portfolio valuations on more than 25,000 properties nationwide representing over $4.5 Billion in residential and commercial real estate properties. Specializing in a unique service, MorCap’s valuations include a net present value of assets module, allowing MorCap to compare immediate liquidation vs. property best use value in order to mitigate net losses incurred by our institutional clients.
